Electronic exchange of import/export and transit declarations with the Dutch and Belgium Tax and Customs Administration.

  • Maritime Single Window (MSW) – with the introduction of MSW it became compulsory to report formalities for ships arriving and or departing via MSW to the Dutch Customs. Softpak has acquired a lot of new customers in The Netherlands and Belgium thanks to the introduction of MSW.

AC4

The AC4 declaration for excise duties typically includes detailed information about the goods involved, such as the type of product, quantity, value, excise rate, and other relevant data. It is an important instrument for levying and monitoring excise duties on products such as alcohol, tobacco, fuels, and other excisable goods.

Portbase

Portbase is a digital platform that operates in the Netherlands. Portbase serves as a centralized hub where various parties exchange logistical information.

KvK

Chamber of Commerce (KvK) We can digitally request the Documents of Origin certificates from the Chamber of Commerce (KvK). To receive, save and print the documents of Origin directly from the Chamber of Commerce,we use oorsprongsdocumenten.nl as an intermediary. Certificates available are CVO, Eur-1, Eur-med, Legalisation and Certification.

Registers the transfer of ownership of an item or service

EMCS

EMCS is an electronic system for monitoring movements of excise goods under suspension of excise duty within the EU, i.e. for which no excise duties have yet been paid.

PD

Communicate electronically the “vooraanmeldingen” to the PD department (Plantenziektenkundige Dienst)

VWA

The RVV department (Governmental department for Meat) offers the possibility to exchange electronically the GDB document

PLDA

Send electronically the Import and Export Declarations to the Belgium Customs Department

AGS

AGS, now replaced by DMS 4.0, is an electronic system that can be used to process your declarations to customs. AGS simplifies and accelerates the customs process and helps to ensure compliance with customs regulation.

EDMS

Automated Export System will replace PLDA for the export section. It is an electronic system managed by the Belgian customs authorities to simplify and streamline export processes. AES enables exporters to submit export declarations more efficiently ad accurately, thereby streamlining export processed ands improving compliance with export regulations.

Provisioning

Supplying ships with food, drinking water, fuel, and other necessities is part of the module called provisioning. Provisioning is of great importance to ensure that ships have sufficient supplies to continue their journey and properly care for the crew.

Local clearance

Local clearance refers to the process of obtaining customs handling and approval at the local level for importing and exporting goods. The purpose of this module is to ensure that goods can be imported or exported safely and legally within a specific jurisdiction.

Agrim license

An Agrim license is a permit granted for the agricultural sector. It is a requirement for activities related to the production, trade, or export of agricultural products. Its purpose is to ensure compliance with quality control measures, food safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.

NCTS

The New Computerised Transit System (NCTS) is a system developed for the EU member states to facilitate the movement of customs goods between the different states. The NCTS makes it possible to accurately check and track transport. 

Cargonaut

Cargonaut facilitates and automates customs processes related to air cargo shipments, such as electronic submission of customs declarations, processing of customs documents, conducting customs inspections, and managing customs procedures. Cargonaut can serve as an intermediary between airlines, freight forwarders, handlers, and customs authorities to facilitate smooth customs clearance of air cargo shipments.

IDMS

IDMS replaces PLDA for the import section. It enables customs authorities to receive, process, and manage paperless customs declaration. This system includes functionalities such as electronic declarations, automated controls, electronic payments, risk analysis, and digital document exchange.

E-globalization

E-globalization is a system that aims to digitize and automate customs and trade processes to facilitate e-globalization. This module includes features as electronic declarations, electronic document exchange, customs simplification, and automatic data processing.

ECS

The Export control system is used by customs authorities to monitor the export of goods. ECS encompasses various aspects, such as electronic submission of export declarations, verification of export licenses and certificates conducting risk analysis, and performing inspections on goods leaving the country.
